Downside Dead; a original Southern blend or Hard Rock & Metal
out of Bessemer City, North Carolina, founded in 2004 and still rocking
their 3 of their original members & adding their Bassist Bill Wilson in 2008; all with uniquely different styles and
influences. This is what makes these boys stand out from most in today’s
Metal scene, by blending these different personalities and talents into
a melting pot of multi genre artistry creating one outstanding band.
After taking a year hiatus in 2011 Downside Dead has re-risen from the ashes armed with a band new CD to be released later this year. They recorded their first CD “Beneath The Surface” in 2012 which can be found on Reverbnation, Soundcloud, .MySpace, Facebook., LXTC Radio, Metal X Radio & NEGB1 Radio and are currently seeking air play & International CD Distribution.
With 8 years and over 200 shows under their belt, playing the local North and South Carolina scene, Downside Dead has faced many ups & downs as a band & is surely paying their dues on the local turf. The boys are now looking to expand their horizons by branching out of the South and take the Country by storm!

“Downside means every one has a downside unless your somehow perfect, but it is how you overcome your downside that makes you a stronger person which in a nut-shell describes our music as well” .
